SANC began in 1975 with a dedicated group of teachers who wanted to work together on projects and support teachers working alone or independently. SANC was formed before the state organization, Suzuki Music Association of California.
Family Memberships offer access to recognized activities, many of which are models for other branches and states. Members may participate in numerous motivating and inspiring events including

Teacher Memberships include access to periodic workshops and short-term intensive courses for teachers wishing to improve their teaching skills and register their courses through the Suzuki Association of America. These courses include opportunities for work with master teachers and extensive observation of experienced teachers working with children.
